When people hear "Akashic Records" for the first time, they often picture something dramatic. Ancient scrolls. A cosmic library. Something requiring years of spiritual practice to access.
The reality is quieter than that - and more grounded. An Akashic Record reading is one of the most clarifying experiences I offer, and it works particularly well for people who feel like they keep running into the same patterns no matter how much work they do on themselves.
Here's what it actually is, and what you might get from one.
What are the Akashic Records?
The Akashic Records are understood in many spiritual traditions as an energetic field that holds information about a soul's history - past experiences, patterns, agreements, and the imprints those have left. Think of it less like a library of facts and more like a field of energy that carries the shape of who you are and how you got here.
I access the Records through a specific prayer and practice. Once open, I work within that space to receive information relevant to you - what's active in your field, what's been carried forward, what might be ready to shift.
You don't need to believe in past lives for a reading to be useful. The information that comes through tends to be relevant to your current life - your patterns, your relationships, the places where you feel stuck. Whether you interpret that literally or as metaphor, the insight is the same.
What happens in a reading?
A session is 60 minutes, online or in-person. We start with a short conversation so I understand what you're bringing - what's alive for you right now, what you're hoping to understand.
Then I open the Records and begin working. I share what I receive as it comes - this might be information about patterns I'm seeing, energetic imprints that are active, things that have been inherited or carried from earlier in this life or beyond it. It often goes places the conscious mind wouldn't have found on its own.
You're fully present throughout. You can ask questions, clarify, respond. It's a conversation, not a performance.
At the end, we close the Records and take a few minutes to integrate what came up. I'll often suggest something concrete - a practice, a reframe, something to sit with.
What might you take away from it?
People come to Akashic Record readings for different reasons, and what lands is different for everyone. But some of what I see most often:
- Clarity on a pattern that keeps repeating - in relationships, in work, in how you respond under pressure
- Understanding of why certain things feel so heavy even when logically they shouldn't
- A sense of permission - to let something go, to want something different, to stop carrying what isn't yours
- Information about soul-level agreements or contracts that are no longer serving
- A feeling of being seen at a level that's hard to reach through talk alone
The most common feedback I get after an Akashic reading is some version of: "I already knew that somewhere, but I couldn't have said it." The reading gives language and shape to something that was already present but unnamed.
That naming matters. Once you can see a pattern clearly, you have more choice about it.
Is it different from a tarot or psychic reading?
Yes, though there's overlap. A tarot reading tends to work with current energy - what's active right now, what the energy around a situation is, what possibilities are in motion. It's excellent for clarity on a specific question or decision.
A psychic reading draws on direct intuitive perception - I'm reading your energy and what I receive about your situation, past, present, and potential future.
An Akashic Record reading goes deeper into why - the soul-level patterns and origins underneath what's showing up in your life. It's less about what's happening and more about understanding the root of it. The two approaches complement each other well, which is why some people book both.
Who is it for?
An Akashic reading tends to resonate most with people who:
- Have done a lot of personal or therapeutic work and feel like something is still stuck underneath
- Keep encountering the same dynamics in relationships despite their best efforts
- Have a strong sense that there's more to understand about themselves than they've been able to access
- Are at a turning point and want clarity on what they're carrying into the next chapter
- Are drawn to soul-level work and ready to go deeper than the surface
You don't need any spiritual background. You just need to be genuinely curious about yourself - willing to receive information and sit with it, even if it surprises you.
Akashic Record readings are available online and in-person in Adelaide. Sessions are 60 minutes, $120. Book here or read more about the Clarity & Healing offerings.
If you've been circling around booking one for a while and something in this post is pulling at you - that's probably worth paying attention to.
